Concurrence
ZED and MIBA Agreements describe the basic standards, rules, fares, etc., that all members have to apply. To get the ZED and/or MIBA agreements in effect for you, you have to contact other members, with whom you want to have an agreement according to these fares and rules. The agreements give you options that you have to negotiate with each member. This is done on the Concurrence Form (and on its Annexes if relevant) that you and the other member must sign when agreed. This will be the ZED or MIBA concurrence between you and that member airline.
You must have at least one concurrence to qualify as a member. Until then you are an Applicant.
Memberhip of ZMF does not mean you automatically qualify to have agreements with all existing members. You have to negotiate with each airline bilaterally.
Any member can approach any other member for a concurrence: the length of membership is irrelevant.
In future, when MSC is run by IATA, each member finalising a concurrence must advise MSC that a concurrence exists (but not the details).
