Accounting code is the three numeric code your airline has been
assigned by IATA. This code is used for passenger ticket and
systems. It is unique for your airline and used for
accounting purposes in the Clearing House when
settling accounts for flown/lifted coupons between airlines.

Glossary
Annual General Meeting. ZMF members will meet at least once per
year to get status of the projects, to vote on projects, budget,
adjustments of the agreements, etc. and to meet other ARs and agree
more concurrences. The Council or the members may call for an extra
meeting during a year if necessary. This is called General
Meeting.

ZED and MIBA Agreements describe the basic standards, rules,
fares, etc., that all members have to apply. To get the ZED and/or
MIBA agreements in effect for you, you have to contact other
members, with whom you want to have an agreement according to these
fares and rules. The agreements give you options that you have to
negotiate with each member. This is done on the Concurrence Form
(and on its Annexes if relevant) that you and the other member must
sign when agreed. This will be the ZED or MIBA concurrence between
you and that member airline.

Multilateral Interline Business travel Agreement for airline
company business travel. The option of fixed and discounted fares,
standards, rules and conditions described in the Agreement and its
Appendices form the base for members’ bilateral negotiations for
exchange of discounted duty tickets and signing of the Concurrence
Form and its Annexes.

Member Service Centre. A real person, your ZED-MIBA Forum

Neighbourhood travel agreements cover routes operated in the
same geographical area. Usually, it covers routes operated in
parallel by two airlines, but it can also cover all routes operated
between the home countries of the airlines involved.

S/A/F means Subsidiary, Affiliate or Franchise companies that
members want to include in their concurrencies. The criteria are
reflected in an Appendix to ZED-MIBA Forum Agreement, and have to
be noted on the signed concurrence form. If included S/A/Fs are a
scheduled passenger airline, the Member must report these on “My
account” on the website.

Taxes/Fees/Charges. Any tax, fee or charge imposed by an airline
(i.e. charges that are not remitted to third party
government/airport authorities) must not be collected and shown on
the ticket, and must not be collected from the ZED passenger by the
transporting airline at time of check in, unless bilaterally agreed
specifically for ID tickets.

ZED MIBA Advisory Council, or just the Council, consists of 8
members’ ARs appointed for two years. To become a Council member, a
ZMF ZMAC pro-forma must be filled in and signed by a superior
officer of the AR’s airline that will guarantee support for two
years for the AR to work for ZMF.

member, or to which you apply for membership.
