AGM 2020 Tenders

Dear ZED MIBA colleagues,


As you will have seen on the website, we’re just a couple of months away from the AGM 2019, but already we need to begin to plan for next year.


If one of you is interested in hosting the AGM in 2020, I would kindly ask you to send me or Julie Williams a quick note by Friday 8 March so that we can discuss more extensively.


The location of the next AGM will be discussed in Geneva and eventually voted on, should there be applications.


If no tenders are received, the 2020 AGM will take place in the IATA office in Geneva.


Here are some guidelines and conditions that are necessary to secure a successful AGM, (they can be found on the website by clicking here)

 Hosting the AGM in 2020


  • No up-front deposit required
  • Reasonable overall costs
  • Easy flight access
  • VISA requirements
  • Main meeting room for 150 people
  • Additional meeting rooms for break-out sessions
  • Wi-Fi access for 150+ people
  • Feasible set up style for main meeting area
  • Possible areas for vendors
  • Projector, portable microphones
  • Attendees registration support
  • Networking event (costs to be included in the room rate)
  • If a contract is to be signed with the hotel, this must be declared and presented to the Members
